Benvenuto broadens its repertoire with the acquisition of 2 catalogues

November 2020 has brought a significant enlargement of Benvenuto’s Publishing Catalogue (ID006). Benvenuto Edizioni Musicali has completed the partial acquisition of two additional music catalogues, accounting for an increase in the number of the songs included by almost 11,000 (bringing the total to a staggering approximate of 97,000 pieces).

The first addition of Benvenuto Edizioni Musicali brings mainly Ballroom dance tones to the company’s repertoire. This 10% acquisition of the relevant Italian catalogue has seen historical royalty income flows accounting close to €130,000 over the years. The second addition brings in its turn more Latin, Bachata and Salsa tunes to the table and has been acquired for 25% from the Spanish Solo Musica, which has seen the catalogue generate €70,000 on average in the past years.

Both acquired music catalogues have a strong exposure at live events and are set to drive a solid increase in Benvenuto Publishing Catalogue’s revenue generation in after-Covid times. This acquisition will have an impact on future revenue flows of the catalogue, yet the past financial data from these catalogues will not be incorporated in the historical data displayed on the platform for the Benvenuto Publishing Catalogue.

ANote Music will be shortly updating the catalogue’s repertoire with all the acquired added tracks.

Stay tuned!
